It is time to stop using plastics so freely, and guess what! There is a shampoo that does not use the ever-present plastic bottle. In bar form, it does a nice job getting your hair clean, while not creating so many suds that it takes 30 gallons to wash the suds out. For conditioner, the simplest thing is to use a small amount of vinegar. Forget all the other chemicals- your body and the water do not need them. Of course, try not to shampoo too often- no more than once a week.
