Invent The Three-Speed Faucet

American plumbing needs to be carefully redesigned with the goal of no waste. One invention I really believe would help is a multi-pressure faucet. The Dribble-Stop Method really works to cut water usage without loss of functionality because the faucet is not turned on full-blast. We need a faucet that does Dribble automatically. When the faucet is turned on, its pressure is about one-fourth that of full pressure. This avoids the immense waste when water splatters, fails to hit the target, and dashes down the drain unused. When more pressure is wanted, you move the faucet in a manner similar to shifting gears in a car. Three “speeds” would be great, with the design always making the lowest flow the easiest, and the most wasteful the hardest. If this were in building code requirements, our cities could save hundreds of thousands- probably millions- of gallons!
